Cash in your Post Office savings stamps while you can

Have you got any Post Office savings stamps in a drawer or an old envelope somewhere? Pop down to your local Post Office and use them while you can.

The last date you can use them to pay for a service in a Post Office branch will be Monday 28th February 2011. After this date the money will always belong to you and a full cash refund will always be available but you won’t be able to use them for stamps, parcels, paying bills or other Post Office services.

The Post Office estimates that there is £1million worth of Savings Stamps still to be redeemed across the country. So if you’ve got some hanging about the house, use them now to pay a few bills or get the cash back. Hey, it’s free money!

I have found £35 worth of around 30 year old saving stamps while clearing out. Can I still redeem these stamps and where do I send them?
