Get paid to watch TikTok!
TikTok is a video sharing platform that has fast become one of the most downloaded and used apps out there. Tens of millions of us watch TikTok – approximately 23.38 million per month, in fact. We all do it for free! So, why not get paid to scroll?
This may be the dream job for many. Influencer marketing company Ubiquitous is now on the hunt for three professional TikTok watchers. Yes, that’s right. Not just one person can get this job, but three!
You can earn $100 an hour (approx. £79.32) to watch TikTok. And that’s just per hour. You will be required to watch 10 hours of content on the app – that’s $1,000 (or £793.24). Not too shabby.
This isn’t the first TikTok watching job Ubiquitous has recruited for. After the first job received over a staggering 50,000 applications, they’ve decided to bring it back once again, bigger and better than before.
If this sounds like the job for you, here’s what you can expect. Three selected candidates will receive $1,000 each for 10 hours of TikTok watching. If successful, you will be asked to help Ubiquitous discover emerging trends by filling out a simple document or recurring trends you spot. As simple as that!
There are two main requirements for this role. One, you must love TikTok; and two, you must have an active social media presence. Although it’s not technically a requirement, you can try to boost your chances of being chosen by tweeting the recruiting company, @ubiquitousofficial, telling them why you are the perfect fit.
You must also:
“Due to the success of October’s TikTok Watching job, we felt it was only right to bring it back for a second time and make the idea even bigger than before. Absolutely anyone can apply as long as they have a TikTok account.
“We’re not looking for an expert or a TikTok connoisseur, we’re just looking for someone who uses TikTok fairly frequently and has an active social media presence of their own.”
Applications are now open and will close on May 31st. All you need to do is to fill in the application and give a brief explanation as to why you deserve the job. All applicants must be over 18. To apply, simply click here.
You may want to know who, out of the 50,000 applicants, managed to bag the coveted gig last time.
The winner of the first TikTok Watching Job was Rosella Cruz—a current FSU student with just shy of 75,000 followers on TikTok.
Rosella said:
“My mom found the job online, and I’m somebody that spends all my days doing TikTok. I love content. I knew I wanted to be a content creator since I was younger, and I spend all my day on TikTok anyways, so I felt like this was an opportunity to make money and learn more while doing something that I love.”
