As a side note, we’re always interested in bargains, so if you’ve booked a super budget holiday, let us know in the comments below!
Bark.com has launched a brand new ‘professional holiday packer and planner’ service for holiday makers. This comes just in time for the busy summer period. The service enables members of the public to both get paid and pay to take care of holiday suitcase packing and other stressful holiday planning and administration.
Professionals can expect to earn up to £45 an hour to come and take care of all holiday admin and packing. This will include; buying the essentials, packing the customer’s suitcase (under supervision), preparing instructions to pack properly when travelling home, organising all admin, so all paperwork is in the order they need it. Professionals can even offer a personal shopping service for holiday clothing.
In 2017 ‘UK residents took 72.8 million trips overseas in total’. It’s said that the stress of holiday packing and planning can impact overall enjoyment of the trip. According to a study, more than 80% of people find the holiday season to be ‘somewhat’ or ‘very’ stressful.
After analysing category demand data from the past five years, Bark.com realised that demand for house-sitting, pet-sitting, gardening and cleaning more than doubles during July and August, indicating that consumers outsource chores and hire professionals for holiday services during the summer period.
You’ll need to create a profile on Bark and advertise your services there. Don’t mess around and get stuck in now, before everyone has flown off!
Great money making idea.
