Money Giveaway: The cost of living crisis is really getting people down now. With a record number of people taking on second jobs and people frantically googling ‘quick ways to make cash’, we at MoneyMagpie have again decided to put our hand in our pocket and offer some help to readers.
Last year we offered you all a chance to get your hands on a no strings attached free £5 and over 300 of you entered.
Therefore we are again offering 20 readers £5. There are no strings attached at all. Simply comment on the article with what you would spend the fiver on, and then in two weeks, 20 people will be selected to win the money.
MoneyMagpie founder Jasmine Birtles says: ‘It really doesn’t feel much in the greater scheme of things, but if it helps a few people then we are more than happy to step in. We have had a record number of people writing in and asking us how to access quick cash, and in reality there aren’t many ways that are safe to the consumer. Therefore we just wanted to offer them a chance. We are strongly against gambling so didn’t want our readers to go there, therefore it’s simply cash.’
So, as stated above, for your chance to get your hands on a fiver, just answer ‘what would you spend an extra fiver on this month?’ in the comments below. The comments will close at midnight on August 1, 2023.
We will notify the winners on August 2, 2023.
Good luck. We look forward to hearing your answers.
Food for my granddaughter who is a single parent training to be a Nurse
Thanx Jasmine…I found my Mum’s old cooler box & ice packs the other day, so I would go & buy a nice selection of lookalike fancy ice lollies & take to the beach, like Mum used to, for my sister & her family of all ages!
I would buy a Mc Donalds meal deal
Stuff for food bank
I would put it towards having the break pads replaced on my bike which speeds me up no end cycling between appointments in my busy day working as a nurse.
Flowers to brighten my wife,s day, which isn,t essential, but everybody deserves a boost occasionaly
A small amount of food to donate to the food bank to help others
As a housewife that will go into my small saving account.
Food
I’d buy my partner his favourite chocolates!
