Money Giveaway: The cost of living crisis is really getting people down now. With a record number of people taking on second jobs and people frantically googling ‘quick ways to make cash’, we at MoneyMagpie have again decided to put our hand in our pocket and offer some help to readers.
Last year we offered you all a chance to get your hands on a no strings attached free £5 and over 300 of you entered.
Therefore we are again offering 20 readers £5. There are no strings attached at all. Simply comment on the article with what you would spend the fiver on, and then in two weeks, 20 people will be selected to win the money.
MoneyMagpie founder Jasmine Birtles says: ‘It really doesn’t feel much in the greater scheme of things, but if it helps a few people then we are more than happy to step in. We have had a record number of people writing in and asking us how to access quick cash, and in reality there aren’t many ways that are safe to the consumer. Therefore we just wanted to offer them a chance. We are strongly against gambling so didn’t want our readers to go there, therefore it’s simply cash.’
So, as stated above, for your chance to get your hands on a fiver, just answer ‘what would you spend an extra fiver on this month?’ in the comments below. The comments will close at midnight on August 1, 2023.
We will notify the winners on August 2, 2023.
Good luck. We look forward to hearing your answers.
Bitcoin, as many as a fiver will get me
I would give the fiver to my daughter as she has no work due to the Film strike!
A cheeky lunchtime coffee out to celebrate my birthday with my lovely husband who’s birthday is days apart from my own, and who also retires this year!
3 lottery tickets 1 to a homeless person and save the last pound
I would buy everyone in the house a little treat, may only be a bar of chocolate for us, and a box of dog treats for the dogs, but its still a nice little treat.
I’m trying to pay off debts and putting every penny I can find towards them.
Buy treats for my little dog
Some fresh flowers for my coffee table to brighten up the day 🙂
Would treat myself to a bag of nice coffee beans! ☕️
I would treat my son to a takeaway
(or two, if I use food for thought vouchers )
