What should I do about my annual travel insurance?

For the first time ever, I bought an annual multi trip policy in February ready to go on a Paris weekend at the end of the month.  I had thought that I would be visiting Italy in May and Spain in October. Do you think it is worth keeping it – or should I try and get a refund now?
